Hey there,

I’m Joshua — 25, psychology student, part-time philosopher, full-time decent human. Born in Berlin, raised in South India, currently living (and dancing between spreadsheets) in Berlin. I’ve just been accepted to the MSc Psychology: Training and Development at UvA, and I’m looking for a room in or around Amsterdam from mid-August. Ideally for a year, but I’m flexible (emotionally too).

About me in roommate terms:
I’m the kind of person who wipes the kitchen counter even if I wasn’t the one who messed it up. I believe in shared living that’s respectful, light-hearted, and kind. I’ll happily help carry your groceries, lend an ear after a weird day, or explain attachment theory over tea (or wine, your choice). I also tutor, cook like a pro ;), and can keep your plants alive if you go away. Bonus: I don't own a drum set.

By day, I’m helping choreographers through their MA projects at the Inter-University Centre for Dance in Berlin (HZT). By night, I’m usually reading, playing guitar, or wondering why I agreed to do yoga again. I’ve got a background in theatre and a deep interest in how people grow, relate, and get unstuck—psychologically speaking, not furniture-wise (though I’ll help with that too).

I like quiet mornings, shared meals now and then, and the kind of home where you can either have deep chats or just co-exist in peace. I’m a good vibe and good people.

If this sounds like someone you could see fitting into your home, let’s talk!

Cheers,
Joshua
